What to do?

Mount Holyoke is located in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts and is a short drive from a number of interesting historical and cultural sites. The summer is an ideal time to visit due to the large number of summer festivals that take place in the Berkshires and surronding areas. For more information on what to do during your spare time check out The Berkshire Web. It has links to all of the major festivals (such as Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow and the Williamstown Theatre Festival ) and museums (such as the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Clark Institute of Art and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art ). More information on Mount Holyoke College itself can be found at its website.
