Benjamin Shemmer, my latest undergraduate thesis student and co-author, gave a poster in the undergraduate poster session sponsored by the MAA in New Orleans in January 2001, and achieved his B. A. in May 2001. He will be a graduate student in the mathematics program at Emory this fall. |

Zhongyuan Che graduated with a Ph. D. in mathematics (with me) and a Master's degree in Computer Science (with Mike Rice) in May 2003, and now is an assistant professor of mathematics at Penn State Beaver. She gave a talk at the national AMS meetings in Baltimore in January 2003, and a talk at the Horizons in Combinatorics meeting, held at Vanderbilt University, May 21-24, 2001. |

Kimber Tysdal graduated with a her Ph. D. in mathematics (with me) in May 2001 and now is an assistant professor at Hood College. She gave a poster presentation in the AWM Workshop at the Joint Meetings in New Orleans in January, 2001. |
